Product Specification

Product Description

No metallic gaskets include different materials ranging from a wide range of elastomers, materials free of asbestos, graphite with metal inserts, PTFE, together with reinforced its internal (TG *0), etc.

SANDWICH:

Sandwich gaskets are formed by a core soft material (FM, graphite, rubber etc.) at the same time partially or completely coated by a PTFE sheet.

Sandwich gaskets combine the chemical resistance of the PTFE with the mechanic resistance and the material elasticity which form the core.

Can be manufactured with a sheet of stainless steel with the interior corrugated shich facilitates recovery.

NON ASBESTOS:

For the manufacture of asbestos-free gaskets we can use different brands of materials as well as our own. We work according to standards or drawings.

GRAPHITE TG*0:

To make TG*0 gaskets consist of applying one or two metal rings either on the inner or outer diameter or both over a conventional flat seal either mineral fiber, graphite, rubber, etc… This metal ring generally made of AISI **4 or **6 allow a better protection copper surface in contact with the fluid, giving to the gasket an excellent mechanical properties and good resistance to erosion.

GRAPHITE TGFG:

Graphite seals with perforated metal insert with a high resistance to the temprature and high pressure, resistance to thermal spikes, long-term, self-lubricating, non-stick and non-combustible.

ELASTOMER GASKETS:

The elastomer seals offer a wide range of sealing materials. Generally they offer optimum sealing for use in medium / low temperatures and low pressures. These gaskets can be manufactured according to standard DIN***0, DIN***1 Standard, Standard B*6.*1 Flange Asa either drawing or sample.

Manufacturing processes:

  • Die cut
  • CNC cutting
  • Molded
  • Extrusion and cutting

The most common material are:

CPI-EL SBR It provides excellent abrasion resistance and is suitable for working with weak acids and water. It is not advisable to work with ozone, hydrocarbons and hard acids. T ° **5º **0ºC

-CPI-EL CR Neoprene offers excellent oil resistance, low gas permeability and excellent resistance to ozone, abrasion and flexing. It is not recommended for use with hard acids and aromatic and oxygenated solvents. Tº **5***5ºC

CPI-EL NBR It is a synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to hydraulic fluids, oils, lubricants, fuels, transmission fluids and solvents. Tº **5º***5ºC

CPI-EL EPDM It offers good resistance to ozone, heat, steam, hard acids and alkalis. It not recommended for use with oils, solvents and aromatic hydrocarbons. Tº *5º***0ºC

CPI-EL FKM It offers excellent resistance to chemical attack, acids, oils, fuels and corrosive environments. It has a high thermal stability at elevated temperatures.

CPI-EL SILICONA is a rubber provides excellent properties at low and high temperatures. It has excellent compressive strength, sunlight, ozone and oxygen. Suitable for food applications. Tº **0º***0ºC
